PROVEN LEADERSHIP!

 

I have lived in the city of Lafayette for 65 years. I grew up on Rubria Street, in Washington Heights, where my parents taught me many life lessons. The lessons of honesty, integrity and respect for all have made me the man I am today and has guided me as a city-parish councilman for the past 7 years.

 

I have been married to my wife, Tracy Lewis, for 44 years. Together, we have two wonderful children Dana Lewis Broussard (Faris) and Dustin Patrick Lewis. We are also proud grandparents of two boys, Myles Lewis and Mason Broussard.

 

I would be honored to continue to serve as your District 44 State Representative.  My motivation for seeking election is not driven by personal interest, but rather to serve my community. I will continue to remember, and never take for granted, that I serve you the constituents.

I know we can continue to do better. Together, we will continue to work to change some of the problems we see in our community. Together, we will continue to find new ways to rid our community of the crime. Together, we will continue to find solutions to the abandoned and vacant homes and businesses. Together, we will continue to improve the poor infrastructure, and develop new opportunities.  Together, with my "PROVEN LEADERSHIP", we will continue to drive economic development and community growth. Together, we will continue to shape the future of the community..
